Brisbane Running Festival, 30 July & 1 August, Throught the Parklands and the Promenade
The Brisbane Running Festival, including the Brisbane Marathon will be taking place over the weekend of 30 July and 1 August 2010. The 1km, 2km and 3km runs will take place on Saturday afternoon, with the longer runs including the 10km, half marathon and marathon taking place on Sunday 1 August 2010.

Young Designers Market, Sunday 1 August, Little Stanley Street
Meet Brisbane's best up and coming designers and artists at the Young Designers Market on Little Stanley Street. Grab a bargain or a one-off designer piece from an exciting range of fashion, jewellery, prints and more from up to 80 stalls.
The Young Designers Market is on the first Sunday of every month, on Little Stanley Street, South Bank, 10am - 4pm.
Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival, 7-13 August, Cultural Forecourt
A week-long celebration of the hottest trends in Australian fashion for Spring and Summer 2010/11. The Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival is Queensland's premiere fashion event.
Open to the public, aspiring fashionistas can purchase tickets to attend catwalk shows, parades, competitions, luncheons and high teas.
The whole South Bank precinct will be abuzz with fashion as well as a couture-inspired Little Stanley Supper Club featuring specialty menu items and cocktails.

Little Stanley Supper Club, 7-13 August, Little Stanley Street
For the duration of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival (MBFF), Little Stanley will be abuzz with fashion, dining, shopping and live musicevery night til late, transforming the street into the Little Stanley Street Supper Club - a funky chill-out area for post-show fashionistas.
