A joint venture between Austcorp and Property Solutions, SW1 comprises retail, residential and office apartments, all within the heart of the South Bank precinct.
Two commercial towers on Melbourne Street, which includes retail premises on the ground floor opened in 2006 as stage one of the project.
This was followed by the development of two residential apartment buildings incorporating 58 units adjacent to the commercial towers on Melbourne Street, which were completed in June 2008.
Stage three of the development incorporates two eight-storey commercial buildings with ground floor retail at the Russell Street end of the site and was completed in August 2008 and all commercial space has now been fully leased.
The final stage of the development incorporates 36 townhouse style dwellings. Construction was completed on this stage in September 2010.
in 2011, SW1 was awarded for its outstanding design with the prestigious Australia Award for Urban Design.
