The Queensland Bottle Tree is a Queensland native and has an unusual bottle shaped trunk which is used to store water. It grows slowly but can reach 20 metres and is best suited in subtropical or tropical climates. You can see two Queensland Bottle Trees at the Formal Gardens. These beautiful trees typify our great Queensland landscape.
