Sponsorship at South Bank

South Bank Precinct is Brisbane’s premier playground - the place Brisbane residents come to celebrate, to enjoy and proudly show off to visitors. It is the place in Brisbane to celebrate, to party, to meet friends and family, to live, to work, to be educated and to experience the arts.

The South Bank Precinct is host to over eleven million visitors annually with over six million to the Parklands alone. Over eighty per cent of these visitors come from the greater Brisbane area.  More information is available on the South Bank Trends page.

An essential ingredient of the success of South Bank Parklands is a thriving Corporate Partner Program comprised of organisations who are involved in exclusive marketing and promotional opportunities facilitated by both South Bank Corporation and their own activities.

Corporate Partners are offered access to many opportunities including accessing the in-park audience, exclusive naming rights, special networking functions, sponsorship planning workshops, and access to venues for product launches. Current Sponsorship Opportunities

The Award Winning Arbour

The Arbour is fast becoming one of Brisbane’s ‘icons’. It is an award winning piece of ‘living’ public art of outstanding architecture that people walk through, marvel at and enjoy.
Stretching the entire length of the Parklands, the Arbour forms   a ‘spine’, linking the various events and activities. It is a feature thoroughfare, a guide for visitors, and a destination in itself.
Signage positioned along the Arbour walk can provide a unique corporate communication vehicle to update visitors on your company’s community projects and initiatives reaching over six million visitors annually.
As a sponsorship opportunity it provides a constant presence, and positioning as a major community contributor. What more impressive ‘gift’ could a corporate offer the Queensland community?

Aquativity

While the Parklands attract visitors from all demographics, the largest group of visitors is families with children, representing 53% or 3.4 million visitors per year.
South Bank's proximity to the river and the ever popular 'Streets Beach' ensures that water is an integral part of the Parkland's landscape architecture.  Building on South Bank's growing reputation as a healthy active leisure precinct comes a new, world class Water Play area destined to become one of Queensland's most popular family relaxation destinations.
Opening in March 2007, Aquativity will be Australia's newest and most exciting public water play areas and will incorporate water design, lighting, and sound to build a rich experience for users throughout the year.   South Bank Corporation is seeking a sponsor partner for this very exciting addition to Brisbane’s most celebrated and recognised parkland.
Aquativity will continue South Bank's tradition of daring to take the lead in urban design.

Australia Day

An opportunity exists for support of one of Brisbane’s largest community celebrations - the Australia Day event at South Bank.  Each year up to 100,000 Brisbane people descend on South Bank over the day and into the night to be a part of the Australia Day celebrations.
South Bank is committed to developing new opportunities at South Bank for the South east Queensland community.  This is achieved by continually providing Brisbane residents and visitors to Brisbane with a recreational venue and community events that are second to none.
