South Bank Corporation was formed in 1989 to manage South Bank and administer the South Bank Corporation Act. The State Government of Queensland is the sole owner of the land gazetted under the South Bank Corporation Act and this land is managed by the Corporation on behalf of the Queensland Government.
The Corporation reports to the Queensland Department of Premier and Cabinet and is led by a Board comprising members of the community with expertise in business, the arts, construction, finance and design.
