Michael Keniger is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of the University of Queensland. He also holds the position of Queensland Government Architect with a specific responsibility to advise on projects of major significance.
Recipient of the Queensland Board of Architects' Architect of the Year award in 1998, Michael has been a key contributor to many significant architectural and urban design projects, including the Sydney and other Olympic sites, National Museum, National Gallery, Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, and State Library extension, and South Bank Corporation (inaugural chair of Design Advisory Panel, from 1997 to 1999, then from 2003 to 2004).
